Donald Pomery Lay (1926-2007) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.
Lay was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on July 11, 1966, to a seat vacated by Harvey Johnsen; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 22, 1966, and received commission the next day. He served as chief judge from 1979 until he assumed senior status on January 7, 1992. He served until his death on April 29, 2007.[1]
