David T. Smith (Democratic Party) is a member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 46. He assumed office on January 4, 2023. His current term ends on January 8, 2025.
Smith (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Missouri House of Representatives to represent District 46. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
David T. Smith grew up in Columbia, Missouri. Smith graduated from Hickman High School in 1991. He earned an undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1996 and a J.D. from Tulane Law School in 1999. Smith's career experience includes working as an attorney and co-founding the law firm of Smith & Parnell, LLC. Smith helped found Columbia’s Citizens Police Review Board and was appointed to the Missouri Advisory Committee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights.[1][2]
