David Bordon

David M. Borden is a retired Connecticut Supreme Court justice. He occasionally still sits on panels on the court.

Judicial career

Justice Borden received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst in 1959 and his bachelor's degree from Harvard Law School in 1962. Upon graduating, he entered private practice in Hartford, Connecticut in 1962 and continued until 1977.[1]

Notable opinions

Bordon dissented from the 4-3 majority in Kerrigan & Mock v. Connecticut Dept. of Public Health, the October 10, 2008 decision that legalized same-sex marriage in Connecticut.[2],[3]
