Biography

Dave Harden was born in Maryland. He earned a J.D. from Georgetown University in 1994. His career experience includes serving with the U.S. Foreign Service for 20 years.[1]

Ideally, it is directly representative of the views of the American People. However, in this political climate, partisan gerrymandering has created a climate of political division and extremism.

I do believe that it is important for a congressional representative to understand how our government functions. I have decades of experience at the highest executive level representing America on the toughest challenges of our generation. But the best combination includes that with private sector experience - I have both

- Building a more inclusive economy that creates opportunities for all, particularly in our rural communities that have been left behind.

- Addressing the climate of political polarization and gridlock in Washington that has stood in the way of common-sense reforms.
