Charlie Miranda is a member of the Tampa City Council in Florida, representing District 6. He assumed office on May 1, 2023. His current term ends on May 1, 2027.
Miranda ran for re-election to the Tampa City Council to represent District 6 in Florida. He won in the general runoff election on April 25, 2023.
Miranda previously served on the Tampa City Council from 1974 to 1979, 1995 to 2003, and 2007 to 2015.[1][2]

The city of Tampa, Florida, held elections for mayor and city council on March 3, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 16, 2015. All seven city council seats were up for election.[3]
In District 2, Charlie Miranda defeated Joseph V. Citro and Julie Ann Jenkins. Incumbent Mary Mulhern did not run for re-election.[4]
