Carol S. Egly is an associate judge of District 5C of Iowa. She was appointed to this position in 1986.[1] Her current term expires in 2018.
Education
Egly graduated from St. Olaf College in 1971 with a bachelor's degree and then received her law degree from Drake University in 1974.[1]
Career
Egly began her career in 1974 as an Iowa assistant attorney general. She worked in this position until 1977. She then worked as a private practice lawyer, a part-time magistrate and part-time hearing officer before her judicial appointment in 1986.[1]
2012 election
Egly was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 77.44 percent of the vote.[2][3]
