Bruce V. Morris is a former Democratic member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 140 from 2007 to 2019.
Biography
Morris' professional experience includes working as ministerial staff of Macedonia Church, director of human relations for Norwalk Public Schools, and art director for FCB Advertising.
He is a member of the Cornerstone Community Development Corporation, a reporter with Dublue Words, is on the George Washington Carver Center Board, and is a member of the Macedonia Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) Ministry, Mid Fairfield Substance Abuse Coalition, Norwalk Clergy Association, Norwalk Democrats, Norwalk Housing Authority Work Study, Norwalk National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and the Norwalk Urban Youth Coalition.[1]

2010
Morris ran for re-election to the 140th District seat in 2010. He defeated Joe Mastroianni (R) in the November 2 general election.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Morris own re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Connecticut's 140th District. Morris ran unopposed in the general election, and he received 5,640 votes.[9] Morris raised $14,056 for his campaign.[10]
