“ | My extensive and in-depth experience with criminal law gained from my current work as an Assistant District Attorney and the experiences I had dealing with a broad range of legal issues in over a decade of private practice at Dewane Law Offices, LLP, are what best qualify me to be a judge. In addition to criminal law, my background has given me an understanding of, and an appreciation for, many different areas of the law including criminal, civil, family, probate, bankruptcy and real estate. I have extensive courtroom experience in criminal trials, civil trials, divorce proceedings, restraining orders and small claims hearings. My experience and familiarity with both criminal and civil cases will provide me the base, in combination with the judge mentor-ship program, to ease my transition to the bench in a manner that will allow me to efficiently and fairly conduct court hearings in all types of cases.[3] - Bob Dewane[8] | ” |
