Bethany A. Fountain Lindberg is a Tenth Judicial District judge for Anoka County, Minnesota. She was appointed to this position on October 6, 2009.[1] She ran election to the same seat in 2012.
Education
Fountain-Lindberg received an associate of arts degree from Rochester Community College in 1985, a B.S. from Mankato State University in 1989 and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1997.[1]
Career
Fountain-Lindberg began her legal career in 1997 as an attorney for the Swanson Law Firm. She then worked as an assistant Anoka County attorney from 1999 through 2001. In 2002, she joined the Child Support Enforcement Unit of the Anoka County Attorney's office. She served as the chief attorney of that unit until 2005, when she became the chief attorney of the Family Law Division of the County Attorney's office. She was then appointed to the district court in 2009.[1]
Elections
2012
Lindberg ran unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2] She received 99.17 percent of the vote.[3]
