Bernard Thomas Moynahan, Jr. (1918-1999) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
Moynahan was nominated to the Eastern District of Kentucky by President John F. Kennedy on September 16, 1963, to a seat vacated by Hiram Church Ford; he was confirmed by the Senate on November 4, 1963, and received his commission on November 8, 1963. From 1969-1984, he served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on September 30, 1984. He served the Eastern District of Kentucky until his death on September 30, 1999.[1]
