Andrew Groff was a Green Party candidate for governor of Delaware in the 2016 election.[1] He was defeated in the general election on November 8, 2016.
He was also a 2014 Green Party candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from Delaware.[2] Andrew Groff lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
Groff was also a 2012 Green Party candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from Delaware.
Biography
Groff graduated from the University of Delaware. After college, he worked for StrideRite Corporation and later for Nike. At the time of his candidacy, Groff was running his own company, Avero Holdings, LLC. He also teaches at Delaware Technical and Community College.[3]
Groff and his wife, Marcia, have one daughter.[3]

Groff filed to run as a Green Party candidate for governor of Delaware in 2016.[1] He competed with U.S. Congressman John Carney Jr. (D), state Sen. Colin Bonini (R), and Libertarian Sean Goward in the November 8 general election.

Groff ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. Senate, to represent Delaware. Groff was defeated by incumbent Chris Coons (D) in the general election on November 4, 2014.[4]

Groff ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. Senate, representing Delaware. Groff sought the nomination on the Green Party ticket.[5] He was unopposed in the Green primary and moved on to the general election. He was defeated in the general election on November 6, 2012, by incumbent Tom Carper.[6]
