This may sound crazy but hear me out on this as we know Eren was darling as the series went on but here something interesting as we know Eren tried to change the Future the best he could but it always played out the way it did leading him to come to the conclusion that it was inescapable but here is something far interesting as the series progressed Eren grew darker and colder to the point he ended becoming the series main antagonist

So it’s possible that the constant use of the attack titan along with the physical abuse he endured through out the series has caused Eren to develop a split personality one the was still the real Eren that Armin and Mikasa ( sorry if I got the girlfriend name wrong)know and love and the monster he chose to become are the direct result of relying on a power that made him do something he shouldn’t have done it’s true seeing vision from the future can change history but only with the proper knowledge like Merlin from Disney sword in the stone he doesn’t try to fight the future cause he knows their nothing to change but Eren is the dark side of that coin Eren faught to change that out come but sadly only played into it’s plot and when he did he sunk into depression became cold and unfeeling and even grew to despise the world that this desire grew into what I like to call dark Eren

Part 2 of his split personality ( using edits to add last minute thoughts

It’s almost like the nutty professor the more Sherman took the serum that made him thin he became increasingly roundly foul mouth and prone to violence for the simplest of things this was because the serum was causing buddy testosterone to boost high

The same can be said for Eren what led to dark Eren was the constant abuse he took throughout the series, constant use of the attack titan for sight and possibly the constant attack titan transformation along with eating the other titans shifters definitely contributed to that dark persona it’s also very possible that being connected to those titans as shifters probably causes the testosterone to spike and increase to very high levels to affect a person mental state also the source the Hallucigenia when it fused with Eren to make the founding titan definitely contributed to further darken him to full on insanity

Also when Mikasa confronts Eren when she kills him it’s possible the real Eren took this moment to let Mikasa kill him while Armin distracted Dark Eren when he Faught him proving that Eren had dual personalities

Even thou wren killed off 80% of humanity before he was stopped that 20% managed to survive and repopulate the earth while his friends managed to guide what was left of humanity to a brighter future sadly when wrens friend all died off over the years the time of conflict resumed one humanity made it back to a hundred percent showing as our numbers grow so dose our desire for conflict sealing Erens sad fate

As Ymir was freed thanks to Mikasa Eren sadly had to take her place in the mindscape possible waiting for the day for someone to bring back the titans and hopefully not make the same mistake he did

So in a way Eren curse was his ego years of trying to avenge his mother death which he later found out was his doing du to the attack titan to send information from the future to him at a young age

Then the mistreatment he went through throughout the series had left behind tons of PTSD, trauma and delusion to his mental state further warping his mind. Then once he got the founding Titans power then before that consumed other Titan shifters.Eren slowly became drunk with power, seeing himself as a superior being when he would brag about his intentions to destroy the world while in the mindscape he was at his most sanist free from the power that he failed to see was corroding his mental state it’s possible that the physical plane and the mental plane are two different planes of sanity on the physical plane it’s so easy to be corrupted by power in the mental plane. It’s more like the realm of truth where the answer just seems more simple.

It's an abnormal. The massive neck on it should be proof. Someone please add this somewhere.

I know Eren had to die to achieve world peace but was his death necessary wasn't there a way to achieve his goals without him kicking the bucket

In Chapter 46 and 47 of the manga and Episode 34 and 35 of the anime where five hours had passed since the battle against the Colossal and Armored Titans how come Eren and Ymir had titan marks while Reiner and Bertolt didn’t?

I hopefully going to see the dubbed version, plus too bad they are only showing it for a day! 🥺
