About me[]
Introduction[]
Yo! I'm Procrastination Station, but you can just call me Ryan if you want since that's what most people call me. My favorite iteration of Astro Boy is Astro Boy 2003 since that's the version I grew up watching (after that atrocious Astro Boy movie.) I also really enjoy the manga and the 1963 version. I personally dislike the 1980 version the most, not to say it's bad or anything, It's certainly better than the Astro Boy movie.
Chirin's Bell (1978)
Speaking of movies, my favorite is Chirin's Bell! It's a dark story about how pointless being strong is, and how revenge is meaningless. It's scary and violent but still PG. For some reason, the movie struck a real chord with me! It's really shocking for a movie from Sanrio! Yeah, the same people who made Hello Kitty. I really recommend it! 'Specially since it's free on VRV and Youtube. I went ahead and bought the DVD anyway since I enjoyed it so much.
My other interests[]
I also like The Wonder 3, Jungle Emperor, Dragon Ball, MegaMan, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, and Super Smash Bros. Among other things.

My history with Astro Boy[]
The beginning[]
The first Astro Boy related thing I watched was the Astro Boy movie on Netflix, and (at the time) I liked it, so I began to watch Astro Boy 2003 on Netflix, which I thought was (and still do) way better than the Astro Boy movie.
Getting into the history and lore of Astro Boy[]
After that, I just kind of forgot about Astro Boy for a few years... Until eventually I was really into MegaMan, and found out some people considered Astro Boy and MegaMan rivals and saw that Astro Boy 2003 was on Hulu, and decided to rewatch it. Boy, that sure changed things. I thought it was great! After that, I discovered there was a 1980 version I never knew about! So I began watching that.
After a few months, I got the first 52 episodes of Astro Boy on DVD. After that, I read the entirety of the Astro Boy manga at my library.
Oh, by the way, my favorite character is Cobalt!
