green bay scored on six of their first ten possessions. they finished with 325 yards of offense. josh jacobs, green bay's running back. he had three rushing touchdowns from the one yard line in this one. he finished the day with 106 yards on 26 carries. so the packers take this 138 to 10. they improved to eight and three on the season. the niners on the other hand they slip to five and six. >> i'm really not concerned right now about how many guys we missed today. we don't play good enough. so that's not a factor. but when you are missing some guys, you do have to be better. and when you have those penalties, we didn't stop the run like we did. and having those three turnovers in the second half, that's how you get embarrassed when did brandon. >> so there you have it kyle shanahan calling this one embarrassing. those unforced errors from the niners. the road really does not get any easier for this team. they have a long flight back to green or from green bay rather. and then next sunday they turn around and they get josh allen in the bills. >> the bills who are going to be well rested because they're not

snow up in the sierra. this is what it looked like. this morning at palisades. you can see the fresh blanket of snow there. a welcome sight for those resorts opening up this weekend, and we want to show you a live look at interstate 80. >> if we can get the traffic camera up. it sounds like up by donner summit. that's one of the classic places when people are heading up to the mountains, you can see that it looks like people have their headlights on maybe a little bit slick, but not too bad. certainly not compared to what we've seen at
5:13 pm
some time. so if you are heading up though, make sure that you check with caltrans to find out whether there are chain controls in place. >> yeah, look like it's a good time to roll right there on 80 right now. all right. for more on the conditions, we're joined by kevin cooper of kali pass resorts group. all right, coop, tell us about the last 48 hours. from your perspective, how has it been up there? >> it's been pretty good. it's an interesting storm for sure. it's been, you know, the remnants of the bomb cyclone with some wind patterns into play, which really put most of that moisture up north of i-80, up on top of i-80. you're, you know, you're sugar bowl boreal. they saw close to 20in of snow up towards shasta multiple feet down towards south shore. five six inches at the most. maybe a centimeter in lake level. but this next round is really set to start giving the entire basin and the west slope all the way down to central california, trying to peak multiple feet of snow, 1 to 2ft in the next 72
5:14 pm
hours. but what a great start to the season, my friend. >> all right. well, coop, we're having a little difficulty hearing your audio. it sounds like there's a little interference. we're going to see if we can get that worked out and maybe come back to you in a short time. but 20in of snow up there. wow. that is a lot. but we're going to bring in bill martin now with a look at some of the weather conditions. they really got what we were seeing here in rain. they really saw some up there in the mountains. >> yeah, it was an awesome storm. i mean, come on, we had record all time record three day total in santa rosa. now that does equate to snow in the mountains as that atmospheric river went through. but it was pretty high snow levels. these next series of systems. nothing, nothing nothing. beautiful sunset. if you're not looking at your tv. nothing at all like what we experienced, what we experienced was a ten out of ten, especially from the golden gate bridge north. the next system is coming in the next two days. scattered showers, no big deal. west slope of the sierra nevada does have a winter storm warning in effect. and that's because the clouds, the ones,
5:15 pm
even the ones that went through, did they get stacked up there, right? we talked about that. it's orographic effect. they're going to get that. sierra nevada is going to dam that that up a little bit. so they're going to get snow. they're going to get like coop says they're going to get over a foot of snow. most likely. that winter storm warning stays in effect through tuesday. so today is sunday. so they got a couple of days. but for us nothing like what we just saw. here's where the scattered showers are. we might see a scattered shower tonight, but again we're talking 10th of an inch, quarter of an inch, things like that. nothing to immense because remember, just a few days ago we were talking about, well, santa rosa, you know, well over a couple of feet or over well over a foot of rain in, in just 36 hours. so we are looking at a much different set of metrics in terms of the weather, in terms of the atmospheric river and the moisture available. you can see from that satellite image, there's not a lot of moisture available in this next round of system. so it's going to be kind of sparse as it comes through. and again, i keep hearing, you know, all this storm continues. this doesn't continue. that storm was
5:16 pm
that storm. this storm is not a storm. it's unsettled kind of scattered shower activity. i think i made the point, right. yeah. so it's california. this is what happens. we get the bomb cyclone slash atmospheric river. that was amazing. and it came at an awesome time because rivers were low. creeks were low, reservoirs were low. we could take the water. oroville and shasta, the two largest surface reservoirs in the state that provide us with most of our water. they got hammered and they had room to fill it up, so we captured a lot of the water. the marin county watershed as well. so it was the perfect storm at the perfect time. any later, if that was february, would be a mess but not work well, i'll be back here with the full forecast coming up. all right. >> thank you. bill. >> well, section of highway 70 in plumas county is closed to traffic in both directions. the chp says that there are multiple slides between grandview station and the greenville y in the feather river canyon. the highway is expected to be closed for at least one week, as crews work to clear that debris, and you can always stay up to date

up in the sierra. we are joined again live by kevin coop cooper of calippus resorts group. kevin, you were talking a little bit about the amount of snow that you got up there. we were just checking the sierra avalanche center that says that today's avalanche risk is rated at around moderate because of the snow that fell. what kind of advice do you have for people who might be heading up to the slopes? >> well, you know, right now we've got that second system that's coming in. that bill was just talking to you. so you've got the system that came in. it was heavy and wet. got a little
5:20 pm
bit light. so you've got two layers that we're looking at in the backcountry right now. this next round that's coming in is going to start out a little bit wet and heavy. so pretty much it's going to layer like a layer cake. so we really got to watch. that will probably be considerable by tuesday. again we're looking at 1 to 2ft. that's a conservative side of it. then down the west slope down towards china peak 3 to 4ft. so that's a lot of snow in a short period of time. but a great setup as we go into the thanksgiving weekend because this system will push out and then clear up. most resorts will be opening up more terrain. you know mountain operations teams are going to have to go out and take a look at it and assess the different regions that they have in and around the different runs to open them up. but what a great start to the season. and, you know, really this system went north. but what we're going to get at the end of the day is going to be the perfect setup for the holiday weekend. and as we move towards christmas, i mean, you talk about the holiday weekend. >> i mean, a couple of weeks ago, i was worried because it was pretty dry. and you know, i know they were making snow up there, but it's just kind of not
5:21 pm
the same. so how big a deal is it to have this, this storm come through pre thanksgiving when you're talking about the financial aspect of this for the resorts. >> great question mike. and you remember last year at this time we were all we were all counting our pennies right. the machine made systems were going and pushing and pushing. that cost a lot of money to make that snow. and then we get really concerned because if we get these big atmospheric rivers in, if they're warm, they wash off all that new snow. so this is great for the economy. this is great for the resorts to start bringing that income in. whether you're north of i-80, shasta up north pacific northwest, all the way down to china peak, it's going to be a great holiday. but i'll tell you what, people need to wait, watch and see. make sure that you have those emergency road kits as you come up and over. we've already seen i-80 and the challenges on highway 50. once those systems start moving down south towards state route 88, it's going to be challenging. so wait for the storm to break and then you're making your way up to tahoe. got it. >> and one of the things that we have seen in the past is kind of like a push to try and get more
5:22 pm
families, get more people up there. are there any new things they're doing for the holidays in terms of the resorts to try and give some specials or other kinds of breaks for people going up there? >> that's a great question. and really what you need to do if you're looking for deals, book as early as you can up to three days in advance, one, two, three, four weeks in advance is the best time to book because that's where you're going to save your money. but also if you're going up to some of the major resorts, make sure you check their reservation system that's new over the last 2 or 3 years, you need to make a reservation at some of those larger resorts so you get your parking. if you don't have a reservation, you're not going to be able to go for that day. takes out the spontaneity a little bit. so prepare for that before you come up. make sure you go online, see what the resorts policy is, and make sure you have that place to park so you can get up on the mountain and ride. >> what's your plan? are you going to you're going to charge the mountain first and then get your turkey on thanksgiving after. >> that's what i'm thinking about there, mike. right there. you know, we got a roshambo
5:23 pm
between caroline and i. and who's going to cook the turkey and who's going to ride? >> have a great holiday. we always appreciate your time. have a great night, too. >> thanks so much. >> take care guys. we'll see you on the mountain. >> sounds good. >> all right. >> well, turning to other news, a new poll is showing that there is a shifting trend in gun ownership and political parties. men who identify as republican are still the main gun owners in the country. but the number of republican women owning guns has jumped 14% in the last five years. that's according to a new gallup survey. and while the gun ownership gender gap has shrunk the gap in owners by political party grew in the same time period, among democratic party men, gun owning rates fell 7% and also dropped 5%. among men who identify as independents. >> canadian prime minister justin trudeau, facing criticism tonight from lawmakers in his country after protests friday night in montreal, turned violent as fox's madeline rivera reports. >> critics accused trudeau of not doing enough to keep the situation under control. >> montreal police say there are more protests scheduled for
