Ratings and Reviews
Pretty good, a little rough along the edges
I tried this out on my 2022 11 inch iPro. I had purchased an HDMI-to-USB dongle and I had an HDMI cable ready to go. I did the in app purchase to get rid of the watermark. I have a third party dock for my Nintendo Switch and despite the fact that I had it on the dock along with the power adapter plugged in, at 1080p, it was a little choppy, with some tearing. Lowering the resolution to 720p delivered better frame rates, but it defeats the purpose, since the Nintendo Switch outputs 1080p at 60 fps when in Docked mode. But I do have some gripes. One thing that annoys me is that I can’t use the app’s full feature set while offline. The watermark appears so I have to go online to get rid of it, despite the in-app purchase. Can’t the data be stored locally on my iPad without having to go online? Running at full HD, as I mentioned, was choppy along with the images tearing at times. It would be nice to have an option to hide the toolbar, so it doesn’t show, and should offer better performance. Despite my gripes, this is a solid effort. There’s some room for improvements.
Developer Response ,
I believe your concerns were addressed in a much earlier release. The bug that was displaying the Watermark while off-line is fixed. The UVC / HDMI input is a camera input that has limited abilities to update. There are menu items that allows selecting various video settings. Please reach out via e-mail using the Request support menu item if there are any additional issue and they can be resolved.
