Please add more headset options for this app!!
I absolutely love my steel series nova 7x, but they aren’t an option on the app. I also can’t download the software used to update the headset because it’s not available for chrome book and I can’t justify buying a windows laptop just to update my headset… I got super excited when I seen SteelSeries offered a mobile phone app for their headset but got disappointed when it only had two options out of the hundreds of devices you guys sell. Please add the nova 7x as an option!

Works great for Nova 5x
Pairs seamlessly with my Nova 5x. EQ Presets get applied instantly and you can change listening modes and pass through directly from the app. Even if a game preset isn’t there you can check the GG Engine Software for it and upload it instantly to the app. My one issue is that you can’t set favorites. There’s a section for it but I can’t figure out any way to mark my favorites game presets. Other than that great app!

Why?
Literally EVERY time I try to play, my headset doesn’t work because it needs an update. I have limited time to play. To make the whole headset cease functionality over an update is nonesense to me. While the sound quality is great, I can’t use it a majority of the time when I want to play because updating every single time I need to use it is inconvenient. I’m glad that the headset gets updated, sure, but I wish it didn’t make the headset unusable when there is one. My phone still works when it’s out of date. Why can’t my headset?

Hi, we could use some more information here. What headset are you using? What on the headset is not functional? Where are you seeing that you a firmware update is required to make the headset function? In Arctis Companion and in SteelSeries GG, the firmware updates are recommended but not required to use the headset.
