Adirondack Park Agency

The Adirondack Park Agency is inviting bids for a host venue for the 2025 Adirondack Planning Forum, which is tentatively scheduled to take place from May 7-8, 2025. The invitation for bid (C2025-2) is posted in the New York State contract reporter with a deadline for submissions of 3:00pm on 12/20/2024. The Adirondack Planning Forum is an annual conference hosted by the Adirondack Park Agency that provides training for Planning and Zoning Board members and informational presentations about current Adirondack issues, ideas, and funding opportunities.

The Adirondack Park Agency has proposed amendments to the Adirondack Park State Land Master Plan (APSLMP), which include adding language addressing accessibility, climate change, and visitor use management in the Forest Preserve.

A 60-day public comment period has started that included three public hearings on October 22, 23, and 29. The Agency will be accepting written public comments through December 2, 2024.
