Tokimeki Memorial

Tokimeki Memorial (ときめきメモリアル, Tokimeki Memoriaru) is a series franchise of dating sim video games developed and published by Konami. Its first game was first released on the PC Engine's Super CD-ROM² System on May 27, 1994. It later received numberous ports to the PlayStation, Sega Saturn, Super Famicom, Game Boy Color, PlayStation Portable, and mobile platforms.

The series released two manga adaptations whose titles are based on. Tokimeki Memorial ONLINE: Tokimeki Gakuen Dai Panikku (ときめきメモリアルONLINE －ときめき学園☆大パニック－) and Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side: The Sleeping Beauty (ときめきメモリアルGirl's Side －The Sleeping Beauty－)

A two-episode anime OVA based on the first game was produced by Studio Pierrot in 1999. Tokimeki Memorial Online was adapted into a 25-episode anime series produced by Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. and Anime International Company and premiered across Japan on October 2, 2006. As OVA adaptation of Tokimeki Memorial 4 called Hajimari no Finder, was produced by Asahi Production in 2009.

Plot[]

The gameplay in Tokimeki Memorial focuses on scheduling, dating and stat-building. The player must organize his or her time between asking out members of the opposite sex and developing his or her abilities at school and sport (with the long-term goal of becoming more seductive, not out of any intrinsic value). Dates are frequent but very brief, with usually only one multiple-choice question to determine whether your partner's love meter will increase or decrease.
