So much better than I remember

I bought these many years ago and they always leaked, but these hold air tight! Comes with little tools that help you zip it closed completely. The material is very sturdy, even with the jumbo bag full of heavy bedding it never feels like it’s about to rip. I was able to get a closet full of bedding and pillows into 7 bags and fit them under the bed with room to spare. These make it so much easier to find what I need and makes bulky items so much easier to move around.

Meets its goal, but be prepared to pump, pump, pump

It works as expected. I used it to store some pillows and bed sheets. Their volume was dramatically reduced after putting them in the bags and pumping the air out. In that sense, it the product met its goal.

However, be prepared to pump, pump, pump A LOT. I would say that, for the two pillows (in one bag), I must have pumped air out at least 500 times. After doing that and some sheets, I had to take a break. The pump is not hard, but it is just the repetitive movement that gets you.

I originally bought these a couple of years back to use in my luggage to avoid checking a bag on an international flight. They worked so well that I have been using them frequently for the same purpose (& to generally avoid checked baggage fees when needed) ever since. Full disclosure, a few of the bags in the multipack didn't hold the vacuum suction, but I just put those to the side and have been repeatedly using the ones that work. One of my best Amazon finds to date!

I've ordered these in the past and have loved them. I just ordered some and I feel like I got knock-offs. The originals have the brand and size on each bag but there was noting noted on these bags. I am looking at the reviews and it seems like the ones that have issues have pictures of the plain bags. Mine also came in a brown box with a label attached and not in the original space saver box like last time.

This made the shelf in my laundry much more organized and takes up less space too. Bottom of the photo shows the items in the bags and the top of the photo shows what it looked like before the bags. This is 4 Large and 1 Medium space saver bags that were used. These would also be great for traveling when you bring more clothes back than you left with. Or you can't make up your mind on what outfits to bring..so you bring several and store your clothes in your suitcase in these bags as you travel. This set of bags comes with a travel pump to use when no vacuum cleaner is accessible. Overall...great bag! So easy to use! Will definitely order more and get my linen closet organized and winter clothes too.

Ich habe die Vakkumbeutel für meine Fursuits (Tieskostüme) gekauft, da Kunstfell in Kombination mit Schaumstoff und Füllwatte unheimlich viel Platz wegnimmt, was gerade bei Flügen dazu führt, dass einem schlichtweg nichts anderes übrig bleibt, als die einzelnen Teile (bis auf den Kopf) in Vakuumbeutel zu packen.

Bisher hatte ich bei Reisen immer das Problem, dass einzelne Vakuumbeutel anderer Hersteller aufgingen oder sogar kaputt waren. Das ist auf meinen letzten 4 Flügen mit diesen Vakuumbeuteln von SpaceSafer anders. Einzelne Beutel ziehen allerdings über die Zeit hinweg Luft, wenn sie zu voll gepackt sind. Unbedingt die Fülllinie beachten!

Contra:

Passt unbedingt auf, was für Material sich direkt hinter dem Saugverschluss befindet. Der Verschluss hat von innen ein sternförmiges Muster, das sich ggf. eindrückt/einprägt. Ich hatte mehrere Tage lang einen sternförmigen Abdruck in einem Vinylteil meines Kostüms. Das lag aber an mir selbst und lässt sich einfach vermeiden indem man vorher schaut, was sich dahinter befindet.

Ich habe die inkludierte Handpumpe nicht verwendet, da ich bisher immer (sogar in Hotels auf Nachfrage) einen Staubsauger zur Verfügung hatte.

We had these last year, this is a second purchase for more of the same. When our house was in fire everything was destroyed by either fire or soot. All the contents in these vacuum sealed bags were preserved from the soot and the water from the fire brigade. Of course they won't protect from direct fire or heat, but 80% of our damage was caused by soot and water not the actual fire. So these bags not only did an amazing job of reducing the size of our larger clothing items, but also kept them safe from damage.
