Beautiful Quality after Removing PU Leather

This mouse pad is beautiful, and perfect after removing the PU leather side (which peeled off completely cleanly, leaving no residue on the aluminum). Have chemical sensitivities and the PU side had a very strong, unpleasant odor, so I figured I'd try removing it rather than return the item since the clean aluminum side was just what I had been searching for. The side under the PU is exactly like the other side (perfectly smooth, mouse glides effortlessly), and looks really beautiful and elegant. This should last forever and not become a landfill item EVER since aluminum is 100% recyclable. Seller, please offer this without the polluting PU leather.

I don't have the best set up right now for a pc so I wanted a mouse pad sturdy enough for me to use on my lap. This was the perfect find! I was worried that it would mess up the bottom of my mouse but so far I haven't had any complaints with this. It works smoothly and my mouse glides on it perfectly! I will absolutely buy again in a bigger size just because I can't see myself using something else when I've gotten so comfortable using this!

The pictures make this look significantly larger than it is. I barely have 1 inch on either side with mouse and hand on this pad. I just want people to know what the actual size is, because the picture makes it look like you'll have 3-4 inches all around or even more.

Just be warned. These things are small and the pictures are misleading. (They do provide measurements, don't make my mistake and just go off the picture.)

I have a heated desk pad that I use for work - all black, didn't need a mouse pad, worked well - until it didn't. As time and use increased, the area for my mouse began to get sticky - no matter how often I cleaned it, the area was getting progressively harder to use my mouse on. I'm not a fan of traditional mouse pads for the same reason. This has solved all of those problems. The mouse glides super smoothly and it's easy to clean with no buildup. It's the perfect size for my use and the rose gold color is a nice change from the basic black I normally have. While the metal does get cold, when I turn on the heat for my desk pad (the mouse pad is on top of it), it warms up as well which I really like.

Regarding other reviews that commented on the "scratchy" noise, I can say it's from the mouse, not the pad. I had similar issues with my original mouse, but it was fixed by applying the pads that were included with this pad. When I changed to a different mouse, no pads were needed and it's virtually noiseless.
