Ok, its been only 24h and I used it only once but I am so excited about this lawnmower! It works SO WELL! It leaves nothing behind, its very easy to set up and start using it, the quality seams to be solid, and the battery last a long time. Yes ist a bit high price tag but 100% worth the money!!

Easy to assemble which involved charging the battery and unboxing the mower. Most involved assembly was the grass catcher and that was straight forward. Comes with mulching attachment installed. Battery charged quickly and lasted the entire yard. I chose the metal deck incase of picking up a solid object. It is easy to maneuver. Appears to mow to an even height. I didn't notice any different between gas powered mower and the Ego except the absence of noise.

Happy with my Ego mower

When I got it, I initially had some issues with the battery. It kept over heating and cutting out. Called customer service and after a couple of conversations it was determined that the battery was defective so I was sent a new battery. Since receiving it the mower has operated perfectly. Has great runtime, cuts and mulches very well and is much easier to handle than my former gas powered mower. It's not self propelled but it is light enough so that I don't think I need it. Plenty of juice for what I need. I like the fact that I won't need to do any more tune ups and other maintenance. Very happy with my decision to go electric.

Didn't come with the very latest battery tech but still a good mower

Having researched the brand for many hours and owning several of their other excellent products including an earlier mower and now 4 batteries, it was my understanding that they had implemented an across the board change so their batteries would come with a fullness indicator with steps around the central button. The battery I received did not have it, indicating it was from an earlier manufacturing date. It is still the ARC advanced tech they implemented years ago that extends battery life during use and across uses).

There are also supposed slight improvements in the latest battery tech for preventing other edge cases that I was hoping to receive. There does not appear to be a way to know what specific battery tech comes inside of the box (I researched for quite awhile to try to determine it).

I wish they would sell direct. They've had issues with distribution (including poor availability on Amazon consistently and other big box retailers) and I don't want to enter all my info for one off purchases at other sites, so I ended up taking the risk and getting an older tech from Amazon.

I've mowed a couple of times and it works well. The brushless motor does seem to extend how much I can mow with one battery compared to my much older EGO mower (the old batteries I own and new battery are cross compatible with all their technology).

Another big reason I bought a whole new EGO mower package was batteries do wear down over time with use and the bolt to remove the blade on my older EGO mower would not turn and the head became stripped preventing replacement.

Their best products are the weed trimmer and leaf blower.

I'm still glad to own it, and I have a big yard (it's around .75 of an acre) that has a lot of demand including battery switches needed (I should really get a riding mower but don't want the maintenance or spend the money). If you have a normal sized yard you'll have no issues.

Love this thing. I was skeptical because the electric mowers I've used in the past could barely get half way though my yard. No problem here, and I have a fairly large yard. Finished everything and the battery meter was still on full. Plenty of torque for dry grass at least, great cut, and ohhhh...so quiet. Don't come back smelling like gas and oil, no futzing with a choke or anything else mechanical. Just hit a button and go. No running to the gas station or changing the oil, and the battery charges to 100% in less time than it takes to cook breakfast. My other electric tools take 10x as long for much smaller batteries. Oh, and because I can fold it up, it takes up SO much less space in my shed.

The one gripe would be that there's a lot of plastic here for a $550 mower. I know it's electric, but I had to return the first one because UPS must have thrown the box down some stairs and several plastic bits were shattered. I want metal parts because otherwise this machine will probably last. We shall see, but so far, I'm happy to put the gas mower behind me. This is the way.

Great at holding charge for a smaller lawn. Folds up compactly for storage. I hose it off after use so that the grass isn't caked on the bottom (it always seems to be wet out when I mow). I've had it for 4 months now, and really loved it. Easy to use- easy to assemble- easy and quick charge-up. Can mow my yard 2X's with one charge- probably about 2,400 sq feet of lawn.
