I've always been the "I fish wires with hangers and random crap" guy. I was an idiot. I bought this for a fairly easy job that I spent 2 minutes on and realized I wanted one of these. I had to get through 2 walls and because the hangers are never perfectly straight, it was not easy.

I bought this, waited a day and when I got it, I managed to fish a wire in record time. I couldn't believe how long I went without this. I don't do it every day but on those days, I'll be very thankful I bought this!!

Its not rocket science to use, its helpful and makes life easier. Definitely a good add for the toolbox. Also makes a great gift!! If someone bought me this, I'd love them.

Product seems to be perfect for the job intended.
If they shipped in a box vs a bag the mechanism probably would not have jammed. However I was able to release the fish tape for use.
Missing directions. Received from manufacturer.

I figured since I'm a bit aggressive with my wiring I may as well get a thick fish tape to see if it helps - and it is amazing for both pushing and pulling. I used it to run ethernet and cctv camera from attics down into walls, and between studs within a wall. Lil trick is to feed it from attic into the wall, out the hole you want a few inches , then go back to the attic and tape all your wire to it , then go back downstairs and yank the fishtape tip hard as you can. It will pull.

I have all the gear from rods to cameras, yet nothing was touching a cabling job I faced. My existing steel fish was getting nowhere near. This however.... WOW, WOW, WOW! Perfect and did it first time! Klein Tools are fairly new to me, I will be using them again!
