I’m super happy with this drill set. The drill itself is of exceptional quality. It’s easy to hold and comfortable in your hands. It works perfectly too. I like that it comes with two batteries so you don’t have to worry about having a dead battery. The carrying case is high quality too. I know this drill will last long as well as any other product from this company makes. It’s easy to see that when you spend a little more you get a better product. I highly recommend it.

Great Drill, Issues With Batteries

Pros: Great drill for around the house projects; DeWalt Customer Service is excellent for warranty replacements

Cons: Both batteries (1.5A DCB201) quit on me at different times and wouldn't accept a charge (as mentioned above, though, DeWalt Customer service was VERY RESPONSIVE and quickly sent me replacements). Drill also had a hard time driving screws all the way into studs -- had to rely on my DeWalt impact driver for that a couple times.

Bottom line: this was a good deal for the price mostly because it included a 2nd battery and overall a good drill for around the house stuff. Not sure I'd recommend it for work or big projects though because of battery dependability.

Great batteries Charges FAST

This is a great battery operated tool! The two batteries charge quickly, the driver has a 1 and 2 setting and lots of power! Used it to drill through an 84 year old laundry sink base we repurposed into a bench and having the extra power setting made it so easy! Never bogged down! Used it with an auger attached to drill holes for bulbs in the ground and it did a great powerful job! Would buy again!

Lo he usado solamente para hacer hoyos y meter tornillos en madera. Al usarlo un tiempo, se vuelve un poco pesado; se cansa un poco la muñeca. La batería se carga muy rápido (1.5 a 2 horas). Extremely effective tool that feels great in the hand

After an unsatisfactory experience with a black & orange drill that was underpowered and felt like a toy, I decided to spring for one of these Dewalt numbers in the hopes that it would do a better job. I'm delighted to report that it is easily powered enough to do my projects: making some bookshelves, putting a gate on the porch etc. It feels really sturdy and like a 'real tool' without being annoyingly heavy. It is simple enough to use and I love that there are two batteries. We had to swap batteries around 3 hours into the gate project. Even the little bag feels like a good quality canvas workbag, not a crap cheap grocery bag which is what I was fearing. All in all, highly recommended. I may have to get my dad one after how impressed he was :D

I'm not professional user and need drill only from time to time for small home projects. My corded hammer drill Makita serves me well, I'm very satisfied with it,
however sometimes I need mobility and don't want carry with me extender. My previous experience with battery powered tools was rather dissapointed, batteries were dying
when not being in use for vertain period of time.
Recently my friend, professional electrision convinced me to give a try to Dewalt brand with new lithium type batteries, which are smaller and much longer to keep change.
This drill isn't a big one or very powerfull, which is fine with me. The chuck features one handed operation, works like a charm.
I live auto stop feature as well. 2 gear transmission features a high speed of 1500 RPM. LED headlamp makes it easier to work in poor light.
Please keep in mind that is brushed version, for brushless drill you would have to pay $20-$40 more but it supposed to last longer.

Drill comes with a nice carry bag to hold the charger and the 2 batteries, and there is lots of room for bits and things as well.

So far I'm very happy with this drill.
