My old iron quit on me unexpectedly, and I went for the old trusted Black+Decker. Works like a charm. Very light, which I also appreciate, and smaller than the average iron - great for smaller hands. Steam function is awesome. Great value for money, too, because it's hard to find an iron these days for under $20 (at the time of purchase). Great product, highly recommend.

I just wanted a budget friendly iron but one that still had some useful functions. This fit exactly what I needed and it works perfectly. It holds water and can spray, multiple heat settings, tip sensor for shutoff and a long power cord. Only negative I have is if you have water in the tank of the iron it can spill very easily unless it's standing up straight. I only fill it half way because when ironing water can spill out the front. It's an inconvenience but the iron still works great. I was using it one night and fell asleep forgetting about it being plugged in. Thank God the auto shutoff worked and I woke up to find it plugged in but ice cold since the timer shut it off automatically.

Great Cloth Iron with Convenient Features, Minor Water Refill Issue

I recently picked up this iron, and honestly, I’m really happy with it. I wear shirts almost every day, and nothing ruins your look faster than wrinkles. This iron has been a game changer for keeping my clothes neat and fresh.

Delivery was quick, and everything was in the box, including clear instructions. If you're new to using this kind of iron, it's worth skimming through the manual, especially if you have delicate fabrics.

The steam function is super handy and makes ironing so much easier, especially for tougher wrinkles. Plus, it has an automatic shut-off feature, which is great if you’re like me and forget to turn things off sometimes!

The only minor gripe I have is the water refill situation. The spout is pretty small, so it can be tricky to fill without spilling. Not a dealbreaker, but it could definitely be improved.

Overall, I’m really satisfied with this iron. It’s reliable, works great, and definitely worth the price. Would recommend!

"The BLACK+DECKER Easy Steam Compact Iron is a compact iron for a small ironing board. Today, I’ll share my experience with choosing, purchasing, and using it.

The first thing to note is that it’s very lightweight! Because of this, I do have to press down a bit harder, but on the other hand, I feel that ironing has become easier. Seriously, it’s just weightless.

Other things that can (and usually do) annoy are absent here. The cord length is sufficient so I don't need to plug the iron into an extension cord. The surface heats up quickly, and the temperature is easy to adjust.

A big plus is, of course, the price. The brand is known for its economical models designed for users who don’t need fancy features but want to get their daily tasks done.

I see in the reviews that people mention the iron leaks—this is indeed a common issue with irons in general, but I haven’t had that problem.

The only annoying thing is that to turn it off completely, you need to unplug it. On the other hand, it’s better than worrying about whether I turned the iron off before leaving the house.

My verdict: it’s a top choice for the money."

Lovely iron, quality, color is lovely, quality is excellent, cord length is perfect, easy to travel with, nonstick and able to hold water for steam purposes. Take an iron that won’t stick on your clothes, this was a good choice. Stickiness is not a problem

It is very light which I like. It is slightly smaller than a traditional iron but not so small it feels like a “mini.”
The setting dial is on the outside above the handle rather than on the inside under the handle. This design makes much more sense because it’s easy to get to and adjust unlike so many irons I’ve had in the past. However, the dial only has numbers and the description for the numbers and what fabrics to use them on is still under the handle and not super easy to see.
All the settings seem to work well though the hottest setting doesn’t quite iron out all the wrinkles in my Linen clothes. Since Linen is notorious for that though, it might be that no iron will do that without starch.
The steam setting works well but even though it’s supposed to be splash proof, the angle of the water reservoir makes it so that water does actually splash out on the clothes unless you iron excruciatingly slow. So I don’t use the steam function and have to use a separate spray bottle for that.
Thus the title…not terrible but not fantastic.

Purchased several of these for ironing centers in the retreat center. Tested them first and they worked amazingly well! Heated quickly, steam was ready after heating. Used the iron for a variety of tests to see if it would not hold up to various fabrics. It tested well on everything.
With the shut off, it did shut the iron off from heading, however while it remained plugged in, the red light flashed. I left it plugged in for over an hour - the iron was cold, but the red light was still flashing on all of them. So, remember to unplug your iron!
