Cambodia National Assembly President Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary on Dec. 12 granted a farewell meeting to outgoing Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam H.E. Nguyen Huy Tang.

H.E. Nguyen Huy Taing thanked the Cambodia NA President and her team for their strong cooperation with the Vietnamese embassy during his tenure.

He praised the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries, which has developed in all fields and at all levels, based on the spirit of solidarity, honesty, and mutual trust.

Samdech Khuon Sudary commended the flourishing cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam in both legislative and executive branches.

She mentioned some major achievements of the Vietnamese ambassador during his diplomatic mission, including the US$25 million support for the construction of an NA building and mutual hosting of top visits.

The two lauded the economic and social development of the two neighbouring countries, mutually benefiting.
