Education and Advocacy

  • International Programs—This office provides a wide variety of University programs with an international focus.
  • Office of Civil Rights Compliance (OCRC)—This office maintains campus wide compliance and resources of Federal and State of Iowa laws related to bias, harassment, discrimination, disability, equal employment opportunity, free speech, and sexual misconduct concerns.
  • Center for Human RightsThe UICHR hosts diverse collaborative events and innovative programs, teaches Human Rights courses, and engages in scholarly work reaching the UI community, the state of Iowa, and beyond.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

To supplement the cost of attending the University, start your scholarship search with the UI Office of Student Financial Aid. Additional resources include:

  • International Student Scholarships—Learn more about our merit scholarship opportunities and our scholarship and grant policies. Financial assistance in the form of grants, loans, or need-based aid is not available for international students.
