Hello 👋 I'm Ozan, a software developer from Turkey and currently working at @usehaystack. I love building complicated stuff for fun, researching, and learning new things from them.

I've started my journey as a full-stack developer. As time went by, I started studying subjects such as databases, compilers, and advanced cloud architectures. I tried to write my interpreter for my language when I was a freshman in high school, using only regexes as the parser 😅. Then, I found myself learning weird/unique stuff such as barcode printer programming or Linux syscall development.

Currently, I am involved in backend development using Node.JS, Python, or Go, or server infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, or just base Linux. I also use languages such as Rust or C for my hobbies project. As an open source developer, I try to contribute to the projects I use or find interesting or create tools I use daily.

I gave small lectures about programming or system design when I was in university and created some Turkish posts to help people to access the content more easily.
