The current release on pypi seems to be quite outdated and is lacking a couple of important patches from the master branch. Would you consider updating the release on pypi, please? It'd make it much easier to create packages downstream, e.g. for Fedora and/or EPEL.

I'd like to second that request. Your yapps version appears to be the best maintained fork.
(I'm maintaining yet another orphaned package, https://github.com/jackjansen/py-dom-xpath-six, which currently contains a slurped old version of yapps that has been partially updated for python 3, etc. I would much prefer to just have a dependency on a yapps package)
