C++ extensions for Defold uses the .script_api files for annotations. Example — https://github.com/thejustinwalsh/defold-xmath/blob/main/xmath/api/xMath.script_api.

On pause, for now the situation with the future of annotation formats for Defold Editor is not clear. Perhaps there will be ready-made annotations.

  • Should it be a part of this extenstion on TS or a part of the generator on Lua?
  • If the second one, then how to use it here and run dynamically?
