Hi @aqualithmedia, can you show me what command you are using to install, and also what operating system? Please also cut&paste all the output from the cmd tool here. Do a select-all and then cut &paste. |

Thanks for the log. It looks like ReportLab is trying to compile an extension. ReportLab is used for the PDF report generation, and was specifically chosen because it's not supposed to require any executable dependancies. You shouldn't have to install C++, although I know there's been issues with it. Please could you try installing the "unreleased" version of BittyTax from GitHub, see https://github.com/BittyTax/BittyTax/wiki/Installation#installing-unreleased-version-from-github. It uses a more recent version of ReportLab, before you do the install, remove the xhtml2pdf package first as the older one you have installed has a dependancy on ReporLab 3.6.13.
Let me know how you get on. |

Does the following look right? Since it's the unreleased version, figured I'd check before I did anything. I got messages after trying to uninstall both reportlab and xhtml2pdf that they weren't even installed in the first place. 'C:\Users\ryanheck>pip install https://github.com/BittyTax/BittyTax/archive/refs/heads/master.zip |

I'm coming at this as a non dev. Would the errors shown prove that this install won't work? This is the second time I've attempted install, resulting in the same errors.
Thanks in advance.
