Wyncote Audubon Becomes Liberty Bird Alliance

New Name

Wyncote Audubon Society has become Liberty Bird Alliance. The change comes after thoughtful consideration of three key factors that included the expansion of our chapter territory, the ongoing controversy over the “Audubon” name, and the adoption of our new strategic plan. 

Same Mission

The Liberty Bird Alliance (LBA) will continue as the chapter of the National Audubon Society serving Pennsylvania’s Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties. LBA warmly welcomes you to experience the joy of birds and aid the conservation efforts that will keep them with us for generations to come.
