THIRD MEETING OF THE WORKING GROUP ON
INTERNET GOVERNANCE, 18-20 APRIL 2005

The WGIG met in the United Nations Office in Geneva from the
18th to the 20th of April. Transcipts of the morning
and afternoon
proceedings are available to consult.
�The schedule was as
follows:
* 18 April: Open consultations with all stakeholders�
* 19/20 April: Closed Meeting of WGIG
Simultaneous interpretation was available in all six UN
languages for the open consultations.�The agenda is available here.�
The speakers' list
included:

- The Internet Society of China
- The Internet Governance Task Force of Japan (IGTF)
Papers were developed based on the
following Report Card Template
for assessing the adequacy of current governance arrangements
with regard to key issues according to this list.�
The WGIG open meeting were webcast. The webcasting was
be provided by OMSP (Open
Media Streaming Project) and HIPATIA
ONG.�
WGIG Questionnaire posted
for comment
�
The WGIG discussed
how to improve current Internet governance
arrangements in order to bring them more in line with the
WSIS principles. In the light of these discussions, this questionnaire
has been developed to allow for a structured feed-back.�
