The Brits may be the biggest night in British music, but they are bigger than just Britain’s music scene. And Adele made that very clear while accepting her award for British Solo Female Artist, during which she paused her speech to declare her support for Kesha, whom dozens of musicians have stood up for since the #FreeKesha movement garnered widespread attention following last Friday’s legal loss.
