Contracts of 3 ambassadors cancelled

The caretaker government has cancelled the contractual appointment of three Bangladesh ambassadors posted in Libya, Turkey and France.
They are Ambassador to Libya Major General (retd) Jamil Uddin Ahsan, Ambassador to Turkey Major General (retd) Rezakul Haider and Ambassador to France Mahmud Hasan.
"The order of cancelling the contracts takes effect from April 1, 2007," said a government announcement yesterday.
