Sydney Sweeney sees your blonde bimbo comments and will raise you one dramatic black bob. The Euphoria actress showed up to Monday night’s 2024 Met Gala looking almost unrecognizable in a new chin-length wig and a blue strapless gown by Miu Miu scattered with crystals and flowers. She completed the ensemble with black leather opera gloves and seemed to be opting for a goth Disney-princess take on the evening’s theme: “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” Snow White, if she joined a motorcycle girl gang.

Before hitting the carpet, Sweeney was also seen exiting the Carlyle Hotel with a sheer black veil covered in glitter. Her Miu Miu look comes as no surprise, as she’s been wearing the brand nearly every time she steps in front of paparazzi, including that pants-less sequined look she wore to the Miu Miu fall 2024 show earlier this year. The 26-year-old has also starred in campaigns for the brand, so it makes perfect sense that she’d use her coveted time on the Met Gala carpet to tout a princess gown from her favorite designer (at least, contractually speaking). Whether the black bob sticks around for more than just one night remains to be seen.
