Martha Stewart Is Not Interested in The Golden Bachelorette

Martha Stewart has so much going for her — a media empire, amazing lips, at least five pets, and an enormous collection of wicker baskets. But Andy Cohen wants to know: Could you pay her $10 million to find love on national TV? Understandably, the answer is no.

During a recent appearance with her friend Snoop Dogg on Watch What Happens Live, Cohen asked Martha if she’d ever agree to be on The Golden Bachelorette. “Absolutely not,” she said. Even if, Cohen wanted to know, she was paid $1 million to $10 million? Stewart shook her head, explaining, “The guys aren’t hot enough.” Snoop chimed in to support this stance, seconding, “She said 10 million can’t get it if he don’t look right.”

While I haven’t watched The Golden Bachelor(ette), I’m inclined to sympathize with Stewart here. Not everyone agrees. The actual Golden Bachelorette, Joan Vassos, told Access Hollywood that her crop of suitors are “special guys” and she believes “everyone’s falling in love with them.” Vassos claims that after she heard Stewart’s take, she DM’d her — “What’s wrong with you, Martha?” — and invited her to the show’s finale to check out the goods in person.

But Stewart has high standards, and I know how carefully she prunes her roses — I don’t think she’s giving any one of those away anytime soon.
