Program Theme
Tohoku Forum for Creativity will organize a thematic program with Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Tohoku University, to promote designing “future foods” in 2050. To secure the sustainably of the world's food supply and better health for human beings in the future, we must overcome multiple hurdles, including climate changes, starvation, aging society and many others. Tohoku University, Taipei Medical University and CERELA–CONICET share a goal to advance Food Science for the future and will organize main symposiums in Japan, Taiwan, and Argentina to discuss “Future Foods and Microbiome” and “Future Foods and Safety/Security”. In addition, two related workshops on “Synchrotron Light for Future Foods” and “Health and Well–Being” will be conducted in cooperation with International Center for Synchrotron Radiation and Innovation Smart, Tohoku University and Graduate School of Arts and Letters, Tohoku University.
