AT Jiuwei Wetland Park in Bao’an District, around10,000 bald cypress trees have turned a stunning coppery red this fall, making the park a new hotspot for social media enthusiasts.
“The bald cypress trees at the park are breathtaking, particularly in the early morning when the fog envelops the area, creating a scene reminiscent of an oil painting,” said a local resident surnamed Liu. Situated along the second section of the Kunpeng Trail, the main artery of Shenzhen’s hiking network, the park is not only a haven for migratory birds but also a popular spot for leisurely strolls. Additionally, the 6-kilometer Xiwan-Qianhai Bay slow-traffic pathway in Bao’an has also become a social media sensation, which has transformed the space under an overpass into a scenic spot where locals can savor the coastal vistas of Bao’an and Qianhai.
