In a twinkle of an eye, 2021 has come to an end. Before we know it, we have ushered in a new year. I’d like to share with you my resolutions for 2022.

I expect to be an industrious and tenacious student. My elders used to tell me, “Look, how slothful you’ve become!” Yes, I must admit that I am often too lazy and sometimes I am even absent-minded when I am in class. This bad habit has made it difficult for me to keep up with the teacher. Whenever I see my classmates working so hard, I get antsy just as if I were sitting on pins and needles.

Therefore, I want to become a persistent, silent student who can keep on working hard whenever I meet difficulties. I will take advantage of my youth and spare no effort to work hard at my subjects.

In the new year, I want to have a strong and healthy body and be in good shape. I am fully aware that maybe I don’t have the same athletic talent as others and no amazing explosive power, but I have great endurance of my own. I like long-distance running and it has shaped my strong will and I hope I can stick to doing it.

I have so many things to look forward to doing in the new year, such as making great progress to receive high scores in my subjects, learning to dance pop, cooking tasty delicacies, learning more about the world, showing concern for current affairs and so on. I hope I can become the successful person I want to be.

In 2022, I will face my future and embrace the world with my eagerness, courage and determination.
