After eight years of serving as a neighbourhood favourite, Autostrada Osteria’s Main Street location is closing its doors on December 14.

The announcement, shared in an email to customers today (November 25), describes the restaurant as a “thriving and bustling 24-seat restaurant that has become the go-to spot in the neighbourhood,” adding that “many of our neighbours became regulars, and those regulars turned into family.”

This isn’t Autostrada's first closure this year—its downtown location at 350 West Pender Street also shut down at the start of 2024. However, fans of the brand can take comfort in knowing they can still visit Autostrada’s Vancouver House location, which is also its newest.

If you’ve yet to make a final pilgrimage to the Main Street spot, now’s the time to savour one last meal there.

Autostrada Osteria Main Street is open until December 14 and is located at 4811 Main Street. Autostrada Osteria Vancouver House is located at 1481 Continental Street.
