I have no problem if a woman whom I date insist on paying the bills. Good and fair to take turns but if she’s okay with paying, it doesn’t bother me. All that matters is that the connection is solid between both of us. Best to be flexible.

I guess your post turns me off if it's for real, is that you likely humiliated the poor guy. He was being a prince for wanting to take you out. Gee whiz. No need to lord your 'higher' status over people. Whatever happened to reciprocating kindness and generosity?
