Déjà Vu is the collective’s eleventh release based around the surreal, producing a series of conceptual, mind-boggling pieces of art that pushed the artists’ abilities to the limit. Life is filled with moments that we can’t comprehend: the confusing, the baffling, the ridiculous and the amazing; Slashthree decided to capture these surreal moments in this one-of-a-kind exhibition. Mexican artist Eduardo Lopez, one of Slashthree’s senior artists, used his signature matte painting style combined with the conceptual nature of the Déjà Vu theme to produce five incredibly diverse artworks, earning him his peers’ vote as featured artist for the exhibition.
