Thrive Paediatrics

With funding from the Dinwoodie Charitable Company, our Thrive Paediatrics programme aims to improve the working lives of paediatricians. It recognises the many multi-layered, multifaceted challenges that the workforce is facing and identifies the need for change.

The RCPCH Roadmap for Transforming the Working Lives of Paediatricians provides a framework to find areas of good practice and highlight things that can be improved. Its three main sections are: working lives; professional development; and wellbeing and culture.

Our pilot Wellbeing and Innovation Networks are communities of paediatric professionals. Inclusive and diverse, they offer a space to draw on each other's experiences and collaborate to act - both individually and as a group.

Hosted on RCPCH Learning, this has evidence, good practice examples and stories from paediatricians' lived experience. We all learn differently and so you'll find tools in different formats, from articles to books, from podcasts to videos.
