Home Fires: The Next Chapter

News

Even though Season 2 of Home Fires ended with a cliffhanger, there will be no more episodes in the series. The producers had originally intended on producing a third season—and maybe even continuing it beyond that—but the show was cancelled in the UK.

Fans of Home Fires will, however, have an opportunity to follow the lives of the characters they’ve come to love. Series creator Simon Block is writing four novels to continue telling the story of the women of Great Paxford as they live through World War II on the home front.

Keep the Home Fires Burning, the first book, will be available in July 2017. Meanwhile, watch below and revisit Home Fires‘ most memorable moments as you say farewell to your favorite characters on screen and await the unfolding of their stories on the page.
