The completed beautifully restored St. Mary’s Church, Waltham, MA.
The interior of the Church, which was built in 1858, was in dire need of surface repair, restoration and updated decoration. It was last painted in the early 1970’s.
Numerous cracks and degradation of walls and moldings required extensive repair, preparation and painting by our highly skilled craftsmen.
In-process window trim restoration shows the extensive surface cleaning and preparation performed.
Access to the 40 ft. high vaulted ceilings, choir and organ lofts was accomplished with the use of boom lifts.
Dust containment included the use of these massive tarps as well as HEPA vacuum-equipped sanders.

Meticulous cleaning, repair and in-painting of 24 ceiling murals restored them to their original beauty.
Masterwork’s expertise in decorative finishing allowed us to create a diversity of fine visual effects including the faux marble painting on the columns and the custom cross design.
