We bought a country home just down the road from our home in West Grey, Ontario (about 2 hrs NW of Toronto). It is a home renovation venture with our son Brett and our daughter Tristan. Brett is an expert in the trades, plumbing, heating, a/c and all the behind the walls stuff. Tristan is an incredible designer. Together we are the team behind Casa Lane.
It is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath home with a beautiful bank barn, drive shed and located on 54 acres of land. It is private, calm, serene, all the things that comfort is made of.
We named it CASA LANE because the long, scenic laneway lined with fields and trees leads you to the heart of this beautiful property.
Every attention to detail has been an intricate part of this renovation... from the oak floors, stunning handcrafted tiles, custom cabinetry, gorgeous fixtures, and everything in between. We have designed every element of the home from the ground up. Casa Lane will be fully furnished and ready to move in.
There's a unique blend of tranquility and sophistication, and a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

We realllllly searched far and wide for the perfect tile and this one was it!! The shower tile is Italian and called Glace Bianco Raye. It was also a real joy to buy from Mettro Source. So inspiring!
We wanted the bath fixtures to be stunnnnning. They are. We went with the Edwardian style with cross handles. The best quality. The best style. Love. Love. Love.
We looked at hundreds of photos of vanities. We found ONE that we loved and custom made for the space. The quartz countertop made it all come together beautifully!
Marvin windows. BEAUTIFUL. The workmanship. The craftmanship. The everything. These are the signature ultimate with white oak interior.
Lighting. Don't get us started. It's wildly difficult to find really pretty lights. Especially in Canada. But we did it. We really did it. Note : these are LARGE and in charge.
Farrow and Ball paint is such beauty. We tried 238 colour sample pots and bought an all time fave. School House white. It is truly a beautiful paint to paint with too.
With a custom vanity, we wanted to pick the perfect countertop. We love the simple clean lines of EDEN. Canadian made!
We loved using our favourite white colour SIMPLY WHITE OC 117. It has been a classic fave of ours for years. Warm. Calm. Lovely.

This beautiful floor tile has such character and charm. We overgrouted this tile on purpose to create even more warmth and character.

We hid the washing machine & dryer within the cabinetry and topped it with HanStone quartz in EDEN.
We had the cabinetry custom made and painted in Farrow & Ball Drop Cloth. The washer/dryer are tucked away. Pretty!
