UNISON urges all members, members of other trade unions, employees of the council, employees of other public sector organisations and those bodies dependent on public sector funding, to come together to make a stand against the continual attacks on the public sector.

Key issues include:-

• ANNUAL PAY OFFER OF 0% ? EFFECTIVELY A PAY CUT
• CUTS IN FUNDING TO PARTNER ORGANISATIONS
• PROPOSED JOB LOSSES AND REDUNDANCIES
• PLANS TO PRIVATISE HUNDREDS OF COUNCIL WORKERS
• PAY CUTS ARISING FROM THE COUNCIL?S FLAWED PAY REVIEW
• These issues have massive implications. The consequences will not just affect workers, but also the public who use and rely on the services provided.

A full Council meeting will take place at 2pm on the date of the lobby to consider the Council Budget.
