To Valued Customers who encounter a message at our bank ATM regarding an information update on your residence card/ period of stay

When using ATMs or Yucho Direct, if a request for an information update on your period of stay appears, please upload a photo of your valid residence card on “Japan Post Bank Customer Information Declaration Website”.
The “Japan Post Bank Customer Information Declaration Website” is available 24 hours a day (except during maintenance work).
In case you cannot use the Internet service, please present your valid residence card, bankbook or ATM card at savings counter at Japan Post Bank or Post Offices during business hours.

Also, if your residence card has been extended, even if there is no message concerning an information update on your period of stay, please upload a photo of your residence card on “Japan Post Bank Customer Information Declaration Website”, or present your residence card at savings counter in Japan Post Bank or Post Offices as soon as possible.
Finally, please kindly note that some bank account services may not be available until you complete this procedure.
