Kumar Gaurav always took pride in the fact that he signed the film with out his fathers approval. Rajendra Kumar did want Gaurav to do a tele film. But Gaurav wanted to do the film because he loved the character and was very close to Mahesh Bhatt .

I Love it

I have seen this movie a long time ago. I loved it. I loved the drama. I loved the music. I loved the acting. It is really a story that takes place in India, but for many reasons it is an everyday story in our lives too. I have seen people going thru the same problems and facing the same challenges. I have cried the whole time the movie went on. I would have, perhaps, reacted different in many situations. But that is just me. I have known people to react and face the same life, some by choice, some forced by religion, or family. My whole family loved this movie. We didn't have any kids in the audience at the time, but if it was possible, I would sit with my daughter and see it together and discuss about it. I haven't seen it in awhile though. If I had a chance to buy it on DVD or cassette I would not hesitate to do so. I loved the movie.
