If the automatic installation doesn't work, or if you are running on macOS 10.6 or 10.7, download the Photomatix Pro 6 for Mac app directly (i.e. without an installer - you will just need to drag the Photomatix Pro 6 app to your Applications folder).

Plugin for Lightroom

The Photomatix Pro download includes a plugin for Lightroom. The plugin will be installed if Adobe Lightroom is installed on your computer. For more information and a video tutorial, see the Export to Photomatix Plugin for Lightroom page.

Plugin for Capture One

The Photomatix Pro download includes a plugin for Capture One as well. The plugin will be installed if Capture One is installed on your computer. For more information and a video tutorial, see the Merge to HDR Plugin for Capture One page.

This interactive feature lets you see a preview of each HDR image before batching bracketed photos. You can even pick different settings for each image.

Saving and loading ghost masks

You can now save the areas you’ve marked for deghosting on the selective ghost removal window, making it easy to merge the same photos again, or use the mask in batch processing.

Custom text watermark tool

Add your own text watermark to images using the new watermark tool, with the font, size, layout and position of your choosing.

Creating 32-bit DNG HDR files

Saving your merged HDR images in 32-bit DNG format makes it easy to further edit them in Photoshop or other photo editing apps. You can also save processed images in DNG format.
